Volunteers Needed
ICARE is an all-volunteer group. All members are asked to select your favorite area where your gifts and talents will benefit our group the most. We are an active group, but only because of our volunteers. We require all members to volunteer for at least one event, but we encourage our members to volunteer throughout the year.
Below are possible events that have occurred in the past. This is YOUR group. If you would like to add or change activities, please contact the

Volunteer Opportunities (select at least one)

FALL FESTIVAL -- Facilitate games/events, setup, teardown, awards
MOMS' NIGHT OUT -- Plan, communicate and lead at least one MNO
TEEN EVENTS -- Plan/execute at least one teen activity
FIELD TRIPS -- Plan, communicate and lead at least one field trip
PARENT SUPPORT MEETINGS -- Help organize speaker/topics
KIDS' CHRISTMAS PARTY -- Setup, teardown, organize games/service project
MOMS' CHRISTMAS PARTY -- Host, plan and communicate event
VALENTINE'S ICE SKATING PARTY -- Decorate/setup, teardown/cleanup, box contest (tally votes/awards)
FIELD DAY & PICNIC (usually in the Spring) -- Setup, teardown, awards, coordinate games, announcer
TEXAS REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR (Spring) -- Assist w/ various needs for Science Fair
BOOK SALE -- Host, coordinate, communicate, community-wide book sale
RECOGNITION NIGHT & TALENT SHOW -- Setup/decorate, teardown/cleanup
SERVICE PROJECT -- Plan and execute one group-wide service project to serve the community
ACADEMIC TESTING -- Become BJU certified tester, administer 3-day test
POOL PARTY -- Setup & Teardown
"NOT BACK TO SCHOOL" PARTY -- Contact and Coordinate with Chick-fil-A
SERVE ON BOARD (must be ICARE member for at least 1 year) -- Events Planner, Volunteer Coordinator, Webmaster, Membership Coordinator, Fundraising Chair, Calendar/Event Coordinator, Treasurer, Secretary
