Terms of Membership
ICARE Membership: As a paid and registered member of ICARE for the 2021-22 school year, access to the Members-Only websites and events will be available until August 31, 2022. The school year runs from September to August. Registration dues are $20 per family. A HALF PRICE DISCOUNT IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR THE SUMMER. As of August 31, 2022, unless re-registration has occurred, members-only privileges will removed and the family will be informed by email. Scholarships may be available for those needing assistance with dues. Please contact our Chairperson for more information.
Facebook Group: ICARE uses our members-only Facebook Group for our ONLY source of communication. After the approval of your membership, you will be invited to our private, Members-Only Facebook Group. If you do not have a Facebook account, we strongly encourage you do create one even if it is just for ICARE communication. However, if you do not want to download Facebook for ICARE, you will be responsible to get any information for our group on your own.
Volunteers: Please remember that ICARE relies upon all its members to be active parts of our group. There are many activities where coordinators are needed and where the coordinators can use assistance in order to ensure the group’s cohesiveness and have a more prosperous year. During the registration process, members have the opportunity to choose in which events they would like to participate. Please watch for requests for help and volunteer for where your gifts and talents will benefit our group the most.
Photo Release: Any photos posted by ICARE members or a contracted professional photographer on the ICARE Facebook Group or other Members-Only sites may be used in ICARE publications and website. These photos are then able to be downloaded for personal use (a charge may be incurred for professional photos). If you do NOT wish for photos of your children to be downloadable, please state your wishes on the appropriate registration page. A list of those members will be posted and kept on the Facebook group Files for everyone's information. If you find a photo inappropriate or even unflattering, please contact the website administrator or other ICARE leadership for removal.
Liability Release: As a member of ICARE for the 2021-2022 school year and in consideration of and in return for services, access to facilities, and other opportunities provided to families by ICARE, it is understood that ICARE is released from any and all liability, claims, and actions that may arise from injury or harm to any member of an ICARE family or damage to their property which may occur while participating in any ICARE or ICARE-sponsored activities.
